About Us

Our Story

Shannon Kunkle, FNP-BC and owner

Shannon practices integrated health where functional medicine and traditional medicine come together. Focusing on a patient-centered care to promote lifestyle modifications, nutrition, biological, and the physiological needs of the patient. Getting to the root cause of the illness/disease and looking at the entire body as a whole is what sets this type of medicine apart. Being proactive in healthcare will help our patients with anti-aging and longevity in life.

Shannon Kunkle, is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner who graduated with a Master’s of the Science of Nursing from the Illinois State University. She holds board certification from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). She has more than 14 years of nursing experience; both pediatrics and adults, chronic disease, autoimmune, neurology, and integrated health.

She is actively pursuing further certifications in Anti-Aging Medicine through the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine and Personalized Medicine through the University of South Florida.

Shannon practices integrated medicine both personally and professionally. She has overcome many of her own health struggles through integrated health. When she is not practicing, she is at home prepping, cooking, and working out. She enjoys traveling the world with her husband of 18 years and visiting her son who is an Air Force Pilot in Tampa, FL. Shannon has lived in central Illinois her whole life and looks forward to providing integrated medicine to her community.
